Now Cooking: Our New Peanut Plant-Based Chick’n Chow Mein recipe!
Spicy Peanut Sauce Ingredients:
- ½ Cup Peanut Butter
- ⅓ Cup Soy Sauce
- 1-2 Tbsp. Hot Chili Sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Sesame Oil
- 1 Tsp. Chicken Salt
Chow Mein Ingredients:
- Jada Chick’n Mix (prepared according to box)
- 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil (plus more for drizzling)
- ½ Small White Onion, sliced.
- 1 Cup Broccoli Florets
- 1 Red Pepper, sliced.
- 1 Cup Crimini Mushrooms, sliced.
- 10 Oz. Cooked Chow Mein Noodles
Step-by Step Instructions:
- Stir all of the spicy peanut sauce ingredients together in a small bowl and set aside.
- Make JADA Plant-Based Chick’n Mix according to package
- Drizzle sesame oil on a pan over medium heat
- Shape & cook Chick’n pieces until golden brown. Set aside.
- In the same pan, drizzle a little more oil and add vegetables.
- Add 1 tbsp. Sesame oil and cook until soft. (about 10 minutes)
- Add chow mein noodles, peanut sauce, and chick’n in large pot.
- Heat for 2-3 minutes on low.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and Chicken Salt.
